With the popularization of basketball all over the world, new public spaces have emerged to meet the demand of those passionate about the sport who do not miss the sacred 'pick-up game' with friends over the weekend. In addition to the quantity, it is clear that the concern of those responsible for these spaces is also with quality, in the sense of offering a pleasant, safe and consequently very photogenic atmosphere.

We have selected some accounts on Instagram that mine the coolest and most unusual courts in the world. Suddenly one of them may be the mandatory stop on your next trip:

@LOCAL_HOOPS, in addition to bringing together the best spaces for the practice of sport, it offers for sale on its website a line of products ranging from sweatshirts to personalized t-shirts and also features a session called “HOOP STORIES”, with stories of people with some kind of relationship with that universe. Our Art Director, Rafa Eidelwein, can tell you a little about his connection with basketball, when he met him through his mother, about his times as an athlete and how his life and work are directly linked to him.

@PROTECTHOMECOURT, discloses not only beautiful pictures of courts and backboards, but also daily inspirations full  of basketball.

@ASPHALTCHRONICLES, is a magazine that does not highlight professional athletes from the basketball leagues, coaches and the likes. The photographer and editor-in-chief, Kevin Couliau, portrays the true essence of the game, that universal movement that occurs in parks and basketball courts.

@PROJECTBACKBOARD, it is a social project that aims at the restoration and transformation of inactive spaces deteriorated by the action of time, in blocks for the use of less favored communities. The brand also publishes public courts with different layouts on its Instagram.
