Tariq Trotter a.k.a. Black Thought, MC and Rapper/MC from the traditional 'The Roots', released the video for 'Thought vs Everybody', track from his most recent album 'Streams of Thought, Vol. 3: Cane and Abel.', which takes advantage of waves of demonstrations by the 'Black Lives Matter' and immerse himself in the traditional American history of structural racism and political reform with its metrics and the usual complex verses and lyrics.
The short-film, directed by Rodney Passé, makes a incursion through concert halls and public houses and brings images of protests led by civil rights movements in American cities. The film also features vocal snippets by activist Angela Davis on racism and violence.
