Even after a few months after the release of The Lance Dance, Michael Jordan's time at the Chicago Bulls, more precisely between 1997-1998, has still caused moments of great nostalgia among fans of the athlete and the sport as a whole. The series also caught the attention of car enthusiasts when MJ showed up with his whip, so we decided to see that once again!

The Chevrolet Corvette C5 was produced from 1997 to 2004. It was powered by a 345-horsepower, 5.7-liter V-8. Nicknamed by the LS1 enthusiasts, it had an aluminum block and heads, living up to a true sports car. In tests at the time, the model manufactured by Chevrolet went from 0 to 100 km / h in just 5 seconds. In The Last Dance, Jordan parks his black Corvette in the Chicago Bulls training facility for another day at the office.

Jordan’s Ferrari 550 Maranello, inspired the design concept of the Nike Air Jordan XIV, a shoe that carried the Italian brand logo on the side as well as being positioned on all cars. The 550 Maranello was powered by a V12 engine with 458 horsepower and 5.5 liters, with the option of manual or automatic transmission.

After the Chicago Bulls won their third championship, we see Michael Jordan coming out of a white Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet Slant Nose after landing at Chicago's O'Hare airport. The 911 Turbo Slant Nose, appropriately named for having a front trim inspired by the Porsche 935, racing model of the German brand. With retractable headlights instead of the traditional 911 headlights, it was equipped with suspension and reinforced brakes, to account for the power generated by the 282 horsepower 6.3-liter turbo engine. The compact and rich cousin of the Beetle went from O to 100 km / h in just 4.9 seconds.

Quite hard not to remember the rainy scene when MJ left his home with his Land Rover Range Rover HSE 4.6 accompanied by reporter Ahmad Rashad, who would interview him all the way to the United Center, at the Chicago Bulls stadium. The SUV had a 4.6-liter V8 and, like all Land Rovers, it was very comfortable.

In episode 7, MJ used his W140 Mercedes-Benz S600 to escape reporters shortly after his departure with the Chicago White Sox. At that moment, everyone speculated about his basketball comeback. The car used in the “getaway”, had a V12 engine, bigger wheels, sports exhaustion pipe and body kit. The customization project had been designed by Lorinser at the time.

The rare Land Rover Range Rover County LWB appears in an interesting moment remembered by B.J. Armstrong in episode 8. Jordan, who had been out of the basketball scene until then, surprisingly shows up for practice that morning. Little did the players know that MJ was almost on his way back to the courts.

One of the most iconic and desired models by enthusiasts, the Ferrari 512 TR developed by Pininfarina in the 90's is definitely a car that MJ had to keep in the garage of his Chicago mansion located in the Highland Park neighborhood. On the occasion above, Jordan arrives at the United Center to play another game with the Chicago Bulls.

This beautiful Porsche 911 Turbo S was the last of MJ's cars seen in the documentary, just after defeating Reggie Miller's Indiana Pacers in Game 7 of the 1998 Eastern Conference Finals. The 424-horsepower model was one of the last 911 Air-cooled turbos.
