Nearly almost twenty years after the release of the classic E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event): The Final World Front, Busta Rhymes awards us with one of the most anticipated releases of the year, the Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath Of God, already considered a true immersion and celebration of good old school hip-hop , and why not, a 'welcome' meeting at the new school.

Busta, who did not cut corners on appearances, brought fire features such as Anderson Paak in 'YUUUU', Kendrick Lamar in 'Look Over Your Shoulder', Mariah Carey in 'Where I Belong', Ol 'Dirty Bastard in 'Slow Flow', Q-Tip in 'Don't Go', Mary J. Blige in 'You Will Never Find Another Me', as well as Rick Ross, Rapsody, Nikki Grier, Rakim, Pete Rock, MOP and Louis Farrakhan.

The presence of samples of his great successes in this new project and of almost mandatory elements in the RAP tracks of the 90s and 2000s, such as INTROS and SKITS, are easily noticed for example, with the participation of Chris Rock in the track “E.L.E. 2 Intro ”. On track 'Outta My Mind' featuring Bell Biv Devoe, Busta waves at 'New Jack Swing', a musical style created by Teddy Riley between the 80s and 90s.

Since his beginning in 1989 with Leaders of The New School and then with Flipmode Squad in 1996, veteran Busta, shows that he still got it and remains relevant in this rap game.
