It is virtually impossible not to link the experience of fans to technology, from the purchase of tickets over the internet to local actions of virtual reality, everything is digitally integrated. A good internet network is essential for the full potential of this process to be assertive and make the fan experience both inside and outside the arenas even more complete.

At the end of January, the American telecommunications company Verizon announced that it will provide 5G network service to the entire Capital One Arena, home of the Washington Wizards. The partnership prepares the arena for the massive return of fans when the risk of contamination by the coronavirus is finally eliminated a time when several activations with the new technology such as ticket supply, behind the scenes experiences and many other possibilities that enhance the quality of the product and positively place Verizon in the future of telecom and sports.

Reaching speeds up to 10 times faster, the 5G network  is powerful  when feeding back games in the arenas and will create, in addition to more immersive and interactive experiences, the possibility of capturing at even greater transmission angles, like in 360°,  leaving fans who have no possibility of going to the arenas, much more immersed in that experience through technology.
