When it comes to football is hard to think of anyone more accomplished than Tom Brady who led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers yesterday to the championship at the Super Bowl LV dominating the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9, becoming the first team to win a Super Bowl in their home stadium.

Let’s make a mathematical analysis, before yesterday Tom Brady already held the record for the most Super Bowl rings ever won, and yet, yesterday, came his 7th, giving him another place in NFL history.

Brady's Super Bowl title — coming at age 43 and in his first season with the Buccaneers — joins the six he won as a member of the New England Patriots (2002, 2003, 2005, 2015, 2017, 2018). He now has one more win than both the Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers combined together, the two most decorated and successful  franchises in N.F.L. history.

For most football experts, an accomplishment as important as the rings, is the fact that he has 10 (that’s right, ten) appearances in Super Bowls, shall we recap?

01 Super Bowl XXXVI: vs. St. Louis Rams;

02 Super Bowl XXXVIII: vs. Carolina Panthers;

03 Super Bowl XXXIX: vs. Philadelphia Eagles;

04 Super Bowl XLII: vs. New York Giants;

05 Super Bowl XLVI: vs. New York Giants;

06 Super Bowl XLVII: vs. New York Giants;

07 Super Bowl XLIX: vs. Seattle Seahawks;

08 Super Bowl LII: vs. Philadelphia Eagles;

09 Super Bowl LI: vs. Atlanta Falcons;

10 Super Bowl LV: x the Kansas City Chiefs.

In football no player has ever achieved some of the most important aspects of the game, notably: No one has more Super Bowl appearances than Tom Brady, no one has more wins either.  He also holds, since 2017, the NFL record of merchandise and apparel sales with astounding figures. Brady has the record with 43 completions against the Falcons. He also has the second-most completions in any Super Bowl, with 37 against the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX. Passing yards: Brady has thrown for 3,039 yards in Super Bowls, by far the most ever.

And that is why most sports commentators don’t argue about his supremacy but are emphatic and unanimous in affirming that there probably won’t be another Brady anytime soon in the league, calling him openly one of the best quarterbacks in the history of NFL. Another example is the city of Tampa Bay, when he joined the Buccaneers, there were fans shouting already “this year we will win the Super Bowl and that’s a fact” as shown on ESPN yesterday evening. That’s the level of confidence football fans place on him.

What about you. Do you believe Brady is the best quarterback ever?
