The VAI-VAI samba school parade team, BASQUETE VAI-VAI FOURBET, together with UD BEER, marked the beginning of ABERTO STREETOPIA SÃO PAULO on the morning of October 2
Point-guard Luiz Felipe Soriani, who is an athlete of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) and one of the main names of the national 3x3 basketball scene, was one of those responsible for the victory of BASKETBALL VAI-VAI FOURBET with a score of 44x21. And talking about samba, in terms of evolution, harmony and group performance, the team did very well.
Despite their easy win, Soriani scored only 9 points, got 2 rebounds and made 1 assist.
BASQUETE VAI-VAI FOURBET is the result of the basketball division of the samba school, which aims to bring the sport into the community. In addition to this project, VAI-VAI is also known for the development of other large-scale social projects, such as the ‘Viva Leite-Crianças program (a milk for kids social program) and the initiation school for young people to play drums for the Samba School in the kid’s category. The school also offers tutoring and language classes, all of which are free of charge.
