The Orlando Magic got lucky and will have the first pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. The definition took place at the Lottery, held this Tuesday (17), in Chicago.
As usual, the three teams with the worst campaigns have an equal chance of having the #1 pick. This season, Rockets, Pistons and Magic were among them. The luck was not on Detroit's side, who will get the 5th pick, while Houston took the 3rd place.
The team that rose the most was the Sacramento Kings. As a new coach (Mike Brown, Warriors assistant), the team of Domantas Sabonis and colleagues will have the 4th pick in the Draft.
The Magic has had three #1 picks in history. In 1992, they selected Shaquille O'Neal. In 1993, Chris Webber, but the same day traded with the Warriors for Penny Hardaway. In 2004, they ended up staying with Dwight Howard. All of them have been very successful in the franchise. So, who will be the next one?
