José Neto has been dominant in Angola. The Brazilian coach, currently in charge of the women's team, once again won the African country's national championship with Petro de Luanda.

An incredible championship achieving 30 wins in 30 games and a 3-0 in the final series against Inter Clube. In the semifinals, Petro had already beaten Primeiro de Agosto, one of the team's rivals, also by a comfortable score.

Neto ended up with the award for best coach of the competition and Lukeni Gonçalves was elected the MVP. This was Petro's 15th national title. In the team is Carlos Morais, an Angolan who played for the Toronto Raptors, in the NBA.

The Brazilian coach has also won the National Cup and the African League. In the Basketball African League, Petro finished in the 3rd position.
