Big L, who arguably was, and still is, one of Hip-Hop's greatest names, is certainly a source of inspiration for a legion of new artists and veterans alike.

Just over twenty years after his death as a result of a murder, the rapper, born and raised in Harlem, received on May 28 another tribute as a way to immortalize his legacy, this time, a street in the neighborhood received the name of the artist.

As of today, the well-known 140th Street and Lenox Avenue have been renamed “Lamont ‘Big L’ Coleman Way”. The change occurred due to the completion of a petition signed by residents of the neighborhood.

The rapper created the album 'Lifestylez ov of Poor & Dangerous', a work that brings together great hits, such as "Put It On" and "M.V.P.,", very popular at Brazilian Hip-Hop parties in the 90s, mainly in the city from Sao Paulo
