Malika Andrews, one of the most talented and renowned journalists of the new generation, has had an inspiring and representative trajectory in recent years, first by gaining space in a universe mostly occupied by men, in addition to using her visibility as a platform, especially as a black woman, to give voice on issues related to racial and social issues.
Anchor of NBA Today on ESPN, winner of a Sports Emmy in the category Outstanding Personality/Emerging On-Air Talent and nominated by Forbes in 2021 as one of the Forbes 30 Under 30, Andrews broke another barrier by becoming the first black woman to host the NBA Draft.

Accompanied by sports commentators Jay Bilas, Kendrick Perkins, Adrian Wojnarowski, and Bobby Marks on the broadcast of the 2022 NBA Draft, the ceremony, as always, revealed promising talents for the upcoming seasons of the league, including Brazilian Gui Santos, a guard/ forward who played for Minas Tênis Clube and was selected by the Golden State Warriors as the 55th pick.
