After the release of ANTI in 2016, Rihanna has not released any musical projects, but for the delight of her legion of fans, she has confirmed presence as the main attraction of the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show according to Seth Dudowsky's statement, NFL Music Manager, on Sunday, September 25: “We are thrilled to welcome Rihanna to the Super Bowl halftime show stage... to bring fans another historic Halftime Show performance."
It will sure be a historic performance, as it will be the first time since 2020 that the singer has re-approached the event since she declined the invitation in solidarity with the suspension of Colin Kaepernick for having protested on the field against racial injustice back in 2016.
Scheduled to take place in mid-February 2023, the Super Bowl halftime show in its other editions has already had the participation of artists such as: The Weekend, Dr. Dre, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Prince, and Madonna.
