Five years after the release of 'Trip', the second album by R&B singer Jhane Aiko, it's time to revisit it as it has just been certified platinum by the RIAA for having surpassed one million sales in the United States.
Released via ARTium and Def Jam, the 22-track album features guest appearances from Big Sean, Rae Sremmurd, Kurupt, Brandy and many more. Trip, is the successor to Souled Out, her debut album, which was released in 2014 and has a very important meaning for the singer as it was dedicated to her late brother and also reflects her struggles with depression after this death, as well as about her troubled relationships.
